Watch the cards
The caller turns over cards one at a time. Each one flips onto your screen.
Place your beans
Press and hold a card on your board to drop a black bean on it. Press and hold again to take it off. Nobody checks your beans until you claim, so mistakes are allowed.
Shout ¡Birdería!
When your beans make the winning pattern, tap ¡Birdería! The caller checks claims in the order they arrived. The first good one wins the round.
Winning patterns
The caller picks the pattern before each round, and it shows on your screen.
- Any Line — A full row, column or diagonal.
- Four Corners — All four corner cards.
- Pozo — Any 2×2 block of cards.
- Full Board — All 16 cards.
Good to know
- A single tap won't place a bean. Press and hold for about a second. The same goes for ¡Birdería!
- The app never tells you if a bean is right. Extra wrong beans don't matter, as long as your winning pattern is made of cards that were really called.
- Need a break? Choose Step Away from the menu. You'll sit out until you tap I'm back, then join at the next round.
- If your phone drops off or you refresh, just reopen the page. Your board and beans will be where you left them.
